Reishi - Scientific Name: Ganoderma Lucidium

Known as the "mushroom of longevity" in ancient Chinese medicine, Reishi is a red mushroom that grows at the base of trees in the wild, though very rare in nature. Reishi helps to support sleep, decrease anxiety, boost immune system function and optimize blood sugar and metabolism. Try our Rest and Recharge in the evening to support a restful night's sleep.

Chaga - Scientific Name: Inonotus Obliquus

This mushroom grows primarily on birch trees in the wild as a hardened, black mass, and our Chaga follows this same natural growing principles, though sometimes in a controlled greenhouses. Chaga is known primarily for it's benefits to support immune function. So make sure to get your daily dose of Rest and Recharge during cold and flu season!

Lion's Mane - Scientific Name: Hericium Erinaceus

Getting its name from the shaggy, mane-like appearance of the fruiting body, Lion's Mane grows naturally on trees or cultivated on sawdust. In history, it has been used to help monk's meditate for long periods of time, and has also been studied for its ability to reduce the risk of neuro-degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, by supporting neuron growth. We recommend trying our Sharp and Focused with your morning coffee to help you take on those tough mental tasks, while also minimizing the jitters and anxiety that can come with drinking plain coffee.

Cordyceps - Scientific Name: Cordyceps Militaris

In the wild, cordyceps is a parasitic mushroom that grows on the bodies of dead insects, however, we cultivate our cordyceps on substrates free of any insects in controlled greenhouses. Nutritional compounds in cordyceps support cardiovascular function and increase cellular oxygen utilization. We recommend our Energize and Boost when you're feeling tired or to support athletic performance and endurance.

Maitake - Scientific Name: Grifola Frondosa

In nature, Maitake is rare mushroom that has been used in ancient medicine for thousands of years, however, we cultivate ours on sawdust substrates to raise its availability to the public. We blend our maitake extract into our Be Well, Everyday due to its ability to support healthy digestion and reduce food sensitivities.

    Our Teas

Our herbs and teas are sourced from only the world's highest-quality sources.

Most brands only use cheap ingredients in order to maximize profit margins, which means their ingredients likely are sprayed with chemicals and/or grown in toxic soil.

At Steep Into It, our tea ingredients are:

    • Organic and Non-GMO
    • Sourced specifically for health properties
    • Contain no filler ingredients

Here are some of the most important ingredients in our blends!

    Chamomile/Passionflower

This powerful combination of flowering herbs has long been helping cultures around the world to reduce anxiety and insomnia, promoting restful sleep. The combination of antioxidants can also help to balance neurotransmitters in the brain to support a more restful state, even lowering blood pressure. This combination is also known to balance hormonal levels, relieving menstrual and menopausal symptoms. Try our Relax and Unwind to see for yourself!

    Ginger

A root that is commonly used as a seasoning in Asian dishes, ginger also has exceptional health benefits. The spicy aromatic flavors of ginger are also an indicator of its ability to stimulate and balance many processes in the body. Ginger stimulates digestion and metabolism, which can help to reduce nausea, bloating and acid relux, and also support detoxification in the body. When brewed as a tea, the health-promoting properties are even more potent, providing excellent support for the liver. Give it a shot with our Daily Detox!

    Milk Thistle/Dandelion

Both of these herbs come from common flowering plants that are known to most people just as common weeds. However, milk thistle and dandelion are known throughout many cultures to be a few of the best herbs for liver and digestive health. Whether supporting natural detoxification pathways, improving skin health, or lower cholesterol and insulin levels, these herbs are natural superfoods which we include in our Daily Detox.

    Green Tea

Probably the most recognized tea on this list, green tea is fairly common in modern culture, however, its history goes back thousands of years to ancient Eastern medicine in Asian culture. Green tea has one of the highest levels of antioxidants in any food product, making it exceptional for reducing inflammation in the body. Due to the small amounts of caffeine, it can help to increase energy levels, but due to a unique blend of amino acids it contains, it helps to promote a relaxed state in the body unlike coffee. You can try our enhanced green tea with Smooth Energy

    Labrador

Labrador is a shrub that grows in some of the coldest regions of North America and has been used by Native Americans for hundreds of years. The herb was quickly adopted by the French settlers in Canada as a brewed tea used for medicinal purposes, which then found its way back to France. The resilient leaves provide strong flavors due to high levels of antioxidants and unique blend of essential oils. Labrador has high levels of vitamin C making it a great beverage for cold and flu season, and the anti-inflammatory properties can relief discomfort from infections and autoimmune issues. Try our ImmuniTea and find out for yourself!
